Shapeways, an online community and marketplace providing 3D printing
services, and SoundCloud, a social music platform, have teamed up to
create The Vibe iPhone Case. It is a custom smartphone case that is
based on a person’s favorite audio track. Embossed on the outside of the
case is a visual representation of a clip of that particular track.
Designed using Shapeways’ web app, The Vibe iPhone Case uses soundbites from SoundCloud that have been recorded or uploaded by the user. Available in white or black, the waveform could be anything from a song to a child’s first words.
CEO Peter Weijmarshausen says, “We are really excited to let anyone design their own personalized iPhone case with their favorite sound. The Vibe [iPhone Case] is literally sound you can touch! This is yet another example of how Shapeways is enabling personalized production using 3D printing.”

esta padrisima la idea creo que si tuviera iphone crearia una... solo que me gustaria saber un poco mas acerca de cuando llega a mexico y ver alguna foto del prototipo por que la verdad estan haciendo una publicidad excelente al enfocarse a las personas de manera individual
